Functional Connectivity

sensory perception

Communications between different brain areas and within an area are at the foundation of all brain functions. These communications are achieved through different types of connections. We look at these networks of connections non-invasively, using MEG. We map the ways in which these connections are different in ASD, and this information is highly valuable when trying to understand the reasons that underlie ASD in the first place, and when looking into new potential treatment approaches.
