- What is an MRI?

- I am worried my child will not be able to do this? How will you support my child during your studies?
Research staff are trained to work with all types of children, including children with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities. The staff will be present during all parts of the studies.

- How long will each visit take?
Each visit generally lasts between 2 and 4 hours. However, we can schedule shorter or longer visits if you prefer.
- How much will I be reimbursed?
You will be reimbursed for your time at a rate of $30 per hour for the behavioral assessments portion of the study, and $70 per hour for the MEG and MRI portions of the study. You will also be reimbursed for transportation up to $40 per visit, and for parking.
- How do I enroll in your studies?

- Will I get the results of the imaging studies?
At this time, we are not able to provide you with any clinical information from the MRI, MEG or EEG data that we collect. However, we will inform you if any major abnormalities were detected while reviewing the data. We will also notify you when we publish results from our study.
- Will I get the results of the assessments?
Yes, you will receive a score summary for all completed assessments.
- Do any of your studies offer treatment options?
We will not be able to provide any treatment during these studies. However, we do hope that our approach will contribute to developing novel and successful treatments within the next few years.
